graphic design

a marathon/antireal/narita inspected/the designers republic-inspired poster. the cubes (and texture on the cubes) were made first in blender, then rendered to an image and had various effects layered on in paint dot net. the text boxes and typesetting came last, in affinity designer.

a stylized advertisement for the Metacube, a fictional product from Terran Colonial Expansion Industries

some more poster-style graphic design i did the same day because i got addicted to the feeling of finishing art pieces for once.

a stylized death screen. a spacecraft fighter is seen in the center, labeled with the emblem of the Anthem Crusaders. text at the top repeats the words SIGNAL LOSS. text under the spacecraft reads i'll see you in the next life, wait for me. text under that text reads AUTOMATIC RETURN PROTOCOL INITIATED. text at the bottom reads PILOT LIFE FORCE NOT FOUND.
a stylized advertisement for the Metacube, a fictional product from Terran Colonial Expansion Industries a 3D render of a stack of cassette tape-like objects in front of an abstract background, with another of the same kind of tape leaning up against them. the tapes are labeled with INSERT THIS SIDE, and RECORDING INDEX followed by a blank space to write a number in. the tape is also labeled with TCEI (Terran Colonial Expansion Industries). the text on the tape is in weirdly stretched pixel fonts.

revisiting a logo i made in 2018 with inkscape eight years later with affinity designer. the new font is one i made myself for segmenter. i think the old font was geo sans light. this was mainly done as an exercise to get comfortable with affinity designer before making the marathon-inspired poster above

my 2026 attempt at the unplugged animations/productions logo, which is shaped like a cat's face wearing headphones. it's all made out of primitive angular shapes, with sandpaper-like gradients along almost every surface my 2018 unplugged animations/productions logo, which is shaped like a cat's face wearing headphones. it's all made out of primitive angular shapes. there are no cool gradients, the angles are a little clumsy and it generally feels like what a high school student using a program they don't fully understand would make, because that's what it is

amusingly, i think i misinterpreted my own intent here. by filling in the empty space with the sphere i accidentally removed the nice open area that the text branding fit in before. this is why i hate remakes, even if it's literally me making a new version of something i made a long time ago i end up misunderstanding it

album art

a gallery of art i've made for my music releases. click on the images to be taken to the track associated with them (bandcamp links).
the way these were made ranges from being collaged from free stock images to being weird edits of free stock images (or photos i took myself) to generating a fractal and then applying weird filters to it to occasionally an original drawing. art is arranged in rough chronological order with the exception of the "header" images.

extremely distorted picture of a mountain. text reads songs from 2018
pixel art of a heart, with scanlines overlaid. text reads ADVENTURE extremely distorted picture with a texture similar to broken glass. text reads the longest twilight extremely distorted picture of keyboard arrow keys. text reads save the beat digitally-painted picture of large rectangular obelisks set against a dark sky.
abstract colors in the background, with lines drawn in the foreground. text is typeset in the lines, but is unreadable due to being written using wingdings. the text in english reads demos from 2018-2021
originally an image of a piano, but cut into sections and distorted so it appears to just be lines melting into each other. text reads cross-applicable skillset originally an image (taken by me) of a road around a mountainside in hawaii, but with the colors altered beyond recognizability a grey background a bit like clouds if they were sharper. text reads free as the air a 3D scene with a low-detail spherical object floating in a dark sky above a brightly-lit low-poly mountain range a close-up picture of an acoustic guitar from a low angle with scanlines and a subtle pixel sort filter over top
